WW - Favorite Places

For other people, exotic locales are the only places they'll vacation.

For me, there's nothing I love more than crossing the five mile long Mighty Mac (did you see the Dirty Jobs episode?) to go to the Upper Peninsula.

It's quite a bridge as I recall. I remember my dad (who's afraid of heights) sweating as we drove across it. It's beautiful at night too all lit up.

I love that pic and how you can't see the other side. Awesome.

Great picture and yes! I remember that episode! And the extremely hot light bulb! :) Thanks for the photo.

wildcatsthree - it is definitely quite a bridge. My best college friend (one of the vacation buddies) HATES driving across it. I don't mind, as long as it's not a high wind day. Thanks for visiting!

Courtney - Thanks! And thanks for stopping!

Kathryn - I should try to photoshop the Beretta out of the pic, it would make it that much better :)

CMG - Naturally I love that episode. I can barely stand to think about being crammed in that column, painting...or up changing that light bulb. OMG! The winds that come across the Straits can be fierce- I remember a lady and her Yugo were blown off the bridge in high winds (in the 80s sometime). They close it down now if winds are too bad.
