Haiku Friday

********
I am in a funk
but don't know what's causing it.
Wish it'd go away.
********
Work looming? Weight gain?
I can't reach inside myself
to figure it out.
********
Hate when I'm restless,
from one thing to another;
so unproductive.
********
Now I ask you this-
make me laugh, people! I know
someone there can help.

You wrote this for me, didn't you?!

In the same boat over here in Washtenaw County. If you figure out how to get out of your funk, let me know. My first step to ending the funk: I volunteered to help out at Heritage Festival tonight in the hopes that I wouldn't sit at home and twiddle my thumbs (S is sailing tonight).

Hmmmm . . . wish I could help. I'm not very funny IRL never mind over the internet. ;P

Hope you can find someone who can make you laugh today!

Sorry about the ‘funk’ … going for a walk outside (and/or playing with MY Molly) usually helps me. I usually share things to ‘smile about’ in my Saturday posts at Small Reflections and often include links to funny things. Click on ‘Smiley Saturday’ in the sidebar there to find these posts.
Hugs and blessings,

Ugh. I've been feeling much the same lately. Maybe it is something in the water around these parts. Lake Michigan perhaps?

To make you laugh?

There was an Olympic swimmer named Misty Hyman. Can you stand it? How bad did her parents hate her to name her that? Might as well have named her Moist Vagina (can I say that on your blog??) while they were at it. I had to pause the tv and call Todd in to see it because he didn't believe me. Man. That is a bad one. Made me laugh though.

Okay. I just spent waaaay too long reading your blog. I can't believe you're just now coming out of "lurk-dom"! We have a LOT in common. I am madly in love with Journey (both old and new Steve), but you are drunk if you think that Holding Back the Years is a good song! ;-) I think we should be friends, anyway!
